Men’s Track and Field finishes ninth at Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's track and field team competed on Saturday at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup, finishing ninth. 

 

Track

Senior Rob Hartigan placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 53.04, while senior Myles Andersen finished in the same spot in the 800m with a time of 2:01.76.   Senior Ethan Billings placed eighth in the 5000m with a time of 15:14.85. 

 

Field

Senior Sean Cochrane had the best finish for a Cardinal on the day, winning the high jump with a mark of 1.97m/6'5.5'', while Freshman Hayden Penna placed third in the pole vault with a height of 4.31m/14'1.75'' setting a school record. Brandon Kaplan finished sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.90m/48'10.75''
