Player to Watch: This week's player to watch is
Brian Norsen. After a strong performance last week, Norsen was named the Empire 8 Baseball Co-Player of the Week. Last week, Norsen batted .571 with 12 hits in 21 at-bats. Seven of his 12 hits went for extra bases with six doubles and a home run, while also driving in six runs and scoring six times. He went 5-for-7, coming up a triple shy of a cycle with three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 20-8 win over Oswego. Norsen has put together seven straight multi-hit games and has seen his batting average rise over 100 points during that span. It is Norsen's second E8 weekly accolade of 2023.
After winning their previous two games, Fisher enters the week hoping to build on that win streak as they look to push past their non-league and Empire 8 opponents.
