BOSTON, MA – The St. John Fisher University track and field team stayed at Boston University and competed in the second day of the David Hemery Valentine Invite. The Cardinals also competed at the MIT Gordon Kelly Invitational, hosted by MIT.
Finishing up at Boston
The final event for the women was the 4000m Distance Medley Relay. The team of
Olivia Grinnell,
Samantha Shea,
Emma Wright, and
Lauren DeMichele ran 12:54.27. Their performance currently puts the relay team first on the Empire 8 leader board.
Competing at MIT
Starting out at MIT, was the 800m.
Riley Jameson ran 2:35.81, placing 6
th overall.
Next up, the Cardinals competed in the 5000m.
Brigid McGee ran 19:32.00 to place 5
th overall. Her performance currently moves her up to eighth on the E8 leader board.
Caitlin Voloshen was not far behind, running 20:34.37 to place 6
th overall.
Up next for the Cardinals is the Nazareth College – Conference Tune Up. The invitational is on Friday, Feb 17., and is hosted by Nazareth College.
