HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men and women's track and field traveled to Houghton University to compete in the first competition of the new indoor season. The Highlanders hosted the December Classic and the Cardinals finished with some strong performances.
Brady Bishop took fourth place in the 400m race with a time of 53.56.
In the men's pole vault,
Hayden Penna cleared a height of 4.05m in his first attempt to claim a tie for sixth place.
Sean Cochrane and
Bryant DePaull took the top-2 spots in the high jump. Cochrane cleared the 2.03m bar in his second attempt and DePaull was able to leap over the bar at 1.92 meters in his second attempt.
Up next for the Cardinals is the Alumni Meet hosted by Nazareth University on Friday, Dec. 8 with a projected start time of 4p.m.
