ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher College track and field program sent a handful of field athletes to compete at nearby Roberts Wesleyan College's Talon Invitational on Friday afternoon.

On the women's side, Lyndsay O'Brien won the shot put with a distance of 10.15 meters and logged a personal-record distance of 27.40 meters in the discus. On her fourth attempt in the shot put, first-year thrower Madison Jones reached a PR of 8.30 meters.

Ada Sylvester finished second in her first-ever attempt at the javelin. The sophomore reached 28.85 meters in her fourth and final throw.

Representing the Cardinal men, Curtis Cuvilly was the runner-up in the long jump at 5.55 meters. 

The freshman duo of Cole Fuller and Caleb Neuner placed second and third, respectively, in the discus. Fuller's toss reached 29.38 meters, while Neuner PR'd with a distance of 25.11 meters. The trio of Jack Mott (10.30m), Neuner (9.94m), and Fuller (8.81m) finished fifth, sixth, and seventh in the shot put.

Second-year thrower Jared Martz posted a personal-record mark in the hammer. He finished third overall with a distance of 25.65 meters. Freshman Ethan Denzak was fifth in the hammer (24.10m) and eighth in the javelin (21.60m).
