Hilton Head, S.C. - The St. John Fisher College women's tennis lost 9-0 to Bridgewater College on Monday at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. The Cardinals are now 9-5 this season.

Kaili Saffran played in a tight match at first singles. The senior fell in the first set, 6-3, however came back strong in the second with snagging a 7-5 win to force a third set. The Webster native ultimately dropped the deciding frame, 6-3.
Valerie Morgans and
Theresa VanWormer each won seven games in their respective fifth and sixth singles matches.
Morgans and
Jacqueline Chouinard paired up at third doubles and took six games off their opponents before falling 8-6 in the pro set match.
Fisher goes head-to-head with Methodist University on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
