The St. John Fisher College men's soccer program battled host Alfred University to 3-3 on Saturday.

With the tie, Fisher's record moves to 1-2-1 in the Empire 8 Conference and 3-7-2 overall, while Alfred goes to 1-1-2, 7-3-2.

Fisher took a 1-0 lead in the opening moments of the game, as Bryan Rollins scored his first of two goals on the day off a double-assist from Tyler Randall and Dallas Kaiser.  The Cardinals would push their lead to 2-0 in the 11th minute, scoring on an Alfred own-goal.

The Saxons, however, came storming back, scoring three straight goals to take a 3-2 lead at the half.

Fisher would tie the game up in the opening moments of the second half on another goal from Rollins.

Neither team was able to find the back of the net after that.

Joe Catalfamo stopped three shots in goal over 110 minutes.

Fisher returns to action at 1 p.m. next Saturday and will host Elmira College.
