The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team fell 9-0 in its home opener and first Empire 8 competition on Sunday at the Mendon Racquet Club.
 
The Cardinals' best shot at a point came at second doubles with Eileen Fleming and Amanda Pendergast losing 8-5.
 
Fisher continues Empire 8 play on Saturday at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J.
