BOX SCOREThe St. John Fisher College women's soccer team fell in the closing seconds, 1-0 , on Saturday to visiting Geneseo in the Golden Challenge For a Pink Cure Tournament held at Growney Stadium.
Fisher falls to 1-3 with the loss, while Geneseo remains undefeated at 4-0.
After outshooting Fisher 18-4 in the game, the Knights were able to break through the defense with just eight seconds left on the clock. Kelsey Raschke sent a pass from the right flank to the far post where Erin Froehlich scored the game-winner.
Fisher's best opportunity of the game came just before halftime when
Kristen Zimmer saw a shot from the eighteen yard box sale just wide of the net.
Brooke Seavitt tied a career-high with 13 saves.
Fisher returns to the pitch at 4 p.m on Wednesday when it travels to Rochester Institute of Technology.
