The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team traveled to Oneonta, NY and fell 6-3 to the host Hartwick Hawks in Empire 8 action.
 
With the loss Fisher falls to 0-4 on the year and 0-3 in Empire 8 play.
 
Fisher picked up a point in first singles from Sania Zaki, second singles from Catie Nonenmacher and sixth singles from Teagan Zingg.
 
Zaki won 7-5, 4-3 before her opponent Nicole Schepesi retired.  Nonemacher cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 second singles victory.  Zingg picked up her first collegiate victory with a 7-6, 6-2 triumph at sixth singles.
 
Fisher returns to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it will host Utica College at the Mendon Racquet Club.
