The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College baseball team scored the final nine runs and didn't allow a run over the final eight innings, as the Cardinals picked up a 9-2 win over visiting College at Brockport on Wednesday at Fisher's Dugan Yard.
With the win, Fisher, ranked 22
nd in the latest D3baseball.com poll, improves to 21-5, while Brockport falls to 19-12.
Starting pitcher
Marc Iseneker allowed two runs in the first inning after back-to-back walk to start the game, but found his zone after that. The freshman raised his record to 5-1 on the year, allowing just two hits over four innings. Relievers

Shawn Corrigan,
Josh Amann and
Ryan Smith combined for five scoreless innings with Smith striking out the side in the ninth.
Fisher tied the game at 2-2 in the second and took the lead for good in the fourth.
Chris Roeder doubled high off the fence in left and scored the game-winning run on a double down the line from fellow senior
Mike Fahy. Roeder finished the game 3-for-3 with three runs scored, while Fahy also picked up three hits.
Fisher broke it open with four runs in the fifth, capped by a two-run single from
Cam Allen, who finished the game with three RBI.
Joe Simmons,
Malcolm Kelsey and
Brad Rush each finished with two hits, while
Cody Wiktorski scored two runs.
As a team, Fisher finished with 15 hits, while holding Brockport to just seven.
Fisher returns to action with a four-game series on Friday and Saturday at Houghton College. Friday's doubleheader will start at 3:30 p.m., while Saturday's game will begin at 12 p.m.
