The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team suffered a 5-4 loss to College at Brockport on Friday at Mendon Racquet Club in the first match of the season for both squads.

Senior Katie Pasier won 6-2, 6-3 at first singles and joined Sania Zaki for an 8-5 win at first doubles.

Abbey Buscaglia earned a point at third singles, while Lauren Burke battled back for a 3-6, 6-0, 6-4 victory at fourth singles.
