The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team picked up the program's first victory of the year on Tuesday,
as the Cardinals cruised to a 9-0 victory over visiting Utica College.
Fisher's
Jennifer Lehner and Kathryn Pasier won 8-2 at first singles, while
Lauren Burke and
Alyssa LaRocca also won 8-2 at second doubles.
Alissa Cornacchia and
Taylor Duquette picked up an 8-2 at third doubles.
Burke won 6-2 , 6-0 at third singles, while Lehner won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles.
Pasier won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles, while LaRocca (fourth singles), Cornacchia (fifth singles) and Duquette (sixth singles) also prevailed 6-1, 6-0.
Fisher will return to action next Wednesday at SUNY Oswego.
