The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team lost its first Empire 8 Conference match of the season, as the Cardinals
dropped a 6-3 decision at Alfred University on Tuesday afternoon.
Fisher's Kathryn Pasier won 6-0, 7-5 at first singles, while Jennifer Lehrner earned a point at second singles, winning 6-3, 6-4.
Lauren Burke and
Alyssa LaRocca closed out the scoring for Fisher with a 9-7 victory at second doubles.
With the loss, Fisher falls to 0-2, 0-1, while Alfred improves to 4-2, 1-0.
