The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team won its first match of the season,
as the Cardinals came through with an 8-1 win over visiting Alfred University on Tuesday.
The Cardinals won all three doubles matches, while Elana Vahl and
Kimberly Phimsipasom battled back to earn three-set wins in singles play.
Fisher hosts The College at Brockport on Thursday.
