Fourth-seeded St. John Fisher College dropped a 5-1 decision to No.1  Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals of the Empire 8 Conference Women's Tennis Championship.  With the loss, Fisher finishes the fall season with a 6-6 overall record.    This was the first time Fisher has earned one of four spots in the Empire 8 Championship.

The Cardinals earned their lone point of the match at second doubles with Jordan Brungard and Kathryn Pasier picking up an 8-6 win.
