The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team dropped its first Empire 8 Conference match of the season, as the Cardinals fell 6-3 to visiting Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday.

Fsher's Katelyn Smith earned a point with a 7-5, 3-6, 10-8 win at third singles, while Haley Strowe held on for a 6-4, 1-6, 10-8 win at sixth singles.  Smith and Jordan Brungard won 9-8 (7-4) at third doubles.
