Baseball Uses Late Rally To Beat Keuka

Mike Craig fanned 10 in the complete-game win.
The St. John Fisher College baseball team trailed 1-0 after six innings, but scored the game's final nine runs, as the Cardinals rallied for a 9-1 win over host Keuka College on Tuesday.

Mike Craig pitched all nine innings to earn the complete-game win.  The senior scattered seven hits and struck out a career-high 10 batters.  With the win, Fisher improves to 19-9 overall.

Fisher scored its first two runs in the top of the seventh inning, capitalizing on two errors by the Storm.  The Cardinals tacked on another run in the eighth inning, thanks to a double from Jon Gibbs.

In the final frame, Fisher scored six runs on six hits.

Kevin Wing went 3-for-5 for Fisher, while Gibbs also tripled and drove in two runs.

Fisher will return to action on Wednesday at the College at Brockport.
