The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team battled Rochester Institute of Technology to scoreless tie for the first 79 minutes of action, but the Tigers founded the back of the net twice in the closing moments
and posted a 2-0 win at Fisher on Friday night.
The Tigers scored the game-winning goal with 10:08 left in the game and with just over a minute left and the Cardinals pressing, R.I.T. added an insurance-goal chipping it over the goalie
Robert Weigand who was well out of the box.
Fisher (2-8-2 overall, 1-3 Empire 8) return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and will face St. Lawrence University. The game will be played at the Watertown Fairgrounds.
