The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team fell to 1-2 on the year
with a 2-1 loss at SUNY Brockport on Tuesday. After a scoreless first half, Brockport took the lead for good in the 70th minute. The Golden Eagles added another goal in the 87th minute, but Fisher pulled to within one goal just 19 seconds later, as a Brockport player headed the ball into its own goal.
With 16 seconds left in regulation, it appeared as though Fisher's
Luke Lennox had tied the game, but offsides was called on a teammate on the far side of the field.
Adam Durst stopped five shots for Fisher, who will return to action on September 10th, as the Cardinals host SUNY Brockport.
