The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team was defeated by visiting Rochester Institute of Technology 5-4 on Thursday night.

Lauren Jones and # Katie Neubeck# captured an 8-5 win at second doubles for the Cardinals, with Neubeck also posting a straight-sets win (6-2, 6-2) win at fourth singles. Katie Barlow (6-3, 6-2) and Katie Catalano (1-6, 6-1, 6-4) also earned points for Fisher at second and fifth singles, respectively.

Fisher (1-2 overall, 0-2 Empire 8) will return to action at 3:30 p.m. next Friday to host SUNY Brockport.
