Luke Lennox netted the game's only goal, while Adam Durst made four saves in the Cardinals' 1-0 win over RIT on Saturday.
BOX SCORE

The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team improved to 5-7-2 overall, 3-2-1 in the Empire 8 Conference with a 1-0 win over visiting Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday.

The Cardinals and Tigers battled evenly over the opening minutes, until Luke Lennox  settled a ball inside the box and buried the ball in the top left corner with a left-footed shot in the 34th minute.

Fisher's Adam Durst made two saves in each half of the shutout win, and was aided by several defensive stops by senior defender Brad Ervin. On three separate occasions in the second half, Ervin cut off the angle and prevented a scoring chance for the Tigers.

Fisher will return to action next Wednesday to host the SUNY Geneseo Blue Knights.
