Lennox Lifts Men's Soccer To Win Over Elmira

Luke Lennox scored two goals to pace the Cardinals to a 2-1 win over Elmira.

The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team improved to 2-2 in the Empire 8 Conference with a 2-1 win over Elmira College on Saturday at Fisher's Growney Stadium.

Junior Luke Lennox scored both goals for Fisher (4-7-1 overall, 2-2 Empire 8). His second goal came in the 71st minute on a pass from Andrew McIntosh, snapping a 1-1 tie.

Lennox gave Fisher a 1-0 lead at intermission, scoring in the 34th minute with Brad Ervin picking up the assist.

Adam Durst stopped four shots to earn the win.

Fisher will return to action at 1 p.m. on Sunday and will host Ithaca College.
