St. John Fisher University Athletics

Allen Murphy (Richburg/Bolivar-Richburg) of the St. John Fisher College baseball team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for his on-field performances during the week that ended March 24^th, 2019.  
 
The junior showcased his abilities last week as the junior shined at the plate and on the mound for the Cardinals in their three games this past week.
 
At the dish, Murphy combined to go 5-for-12 (.417) with two home runs, four RBI and four runs scored.  The Richburg native also earned his second win of the season on Wednesday after scattering just two hits over four innings against RIT. He also struck out four in the win.
 
Baseball returns to action on Wednesday at 12:30 pm when they welcome Elmira to Dugan Yard for an Empire 8 doubleheader.
