PITTSFORD, N.Y – Caroline Robertson of the women’s basketball team named the St. John Fisher College Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 2nd, 2016.

Robertson had an excellent week for the Cardinals, helping Fisher post a 2-1 record and secure two valuable conference victories.

In the win over Utica on Tuesday, Robertson led the team in both points (16) and rebounds (8). The junior then cleaned the glass in Friday’s win over previously-undefeated Hartwick College, scooping a career-high 11 boards. To cap off the week, Robertson matched her career-high boards while recording a career-high points with 26 in the loss to Stevens.

Robertson has been an integral part of the effort this year as she leads the squad in both points per game (13.5) and rebounds per game (6.9). In the Empire 8, she is ranked ninth and 13th, respectively, in those statistical categories as well.

Women’s basketball returns to action at 6 p.m. on Tuesday as the team hosts Houghton College.
