St. John Fisher University Athletics

Ceilia Fitzgerald (Bellevue, OH/St. Paul) of the St. John Fisher College women’s golf team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for action ending April 27, 2014.
 
Fitzgerald helped guide the Cardinals to a first-place finish at the Nazareth College Invitational for the second straight year as Fisher fired a two-day total of 793 to beat the Golden Flyers by seven strokes.
 
Fitzgerald placed third overall and was Fisher’s top-scorer in the tournament with a total score of 180, including a final-round 82.
 
A junior, Fitzgerald led Fisher in scoring every tournament this season.
