Megan Vona (Lockport/Newfane) of the St. John Fisher College track and field team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 15, 2013.

Vona highlighted an excellent showing for the women’s team on Thursday at the RIT Early Season Invite.

The senior picked up her first collegiate win jumping 10.45 meters in the triple jump.

Fisher will be back in action January 12 when it will travel to Hanover, New Hampshire for the Dartmouth Relays.
