    Gettings recorded a career-high 18 points in the Cardinals’ 78-61 win over the College at Brockport on Tuesday night at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym. The sophomore guard also recorded a team-best five assists and grabbed two boards. Gettings shot 6-for-9 from the field and made good on his one attempt from behind the arc.
    For the season, Gettings leads the Cardinals in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game, and has shot 10-for-17 (58.8%) from the field.
    Gettings was also named Empire 8 Player of the Week.
    The Cardinals improved to 2-0 on the season with the win. Fisher returns to action when it hosts the Hobart College Statesmen on Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
