St. John Fisher University Athletics

2026: Played and started in each of the Cardinals’ 21 contests… ended the year second on the team with 37 caused turnovers… also had 50 draw controls and picked up 31 ground balls… scored her first two collegiate goals… was named Empire 8 Conference Defensive Player of the Week after opening the season with four caused turnovers, a goal and a ground ball recovery and a draw control against the University of Rochester on Feb. 21… caused three turnovers and picked up four ground balls against No. 1 Middlebury in the NCAA Tournament on May 10… controlled seven draws, caused three turnovers and picked up a pair of ground balls in Fisher’s win over SUNY Geneseo in the Empire 8 title game on May 2… recorded six draw controls and caused three turnovers in Fisher’s E8 Semifinal win over Utica on April 30… caused multiple turnovers in 11 games and controlled five or more draws in four… earned second-team All-Empire 8 honors… named to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team.

2025: Appeared in 12 games… collected four ground balls and added one draw control… caused two turnovers in a victory over Alfred on April 5… caused five total turnovers on the season. 

2024: Appeared in 10 games... collected 1 ground ball and caused 2 turnovers.

High School: Played three varsity seasons of lacrosse… competed in cross country and ice hockey… named First-Team Tri-Valley both her junior and senior years for lacrosse and cross country… earned Heart and Hustle award her junior and senior year for lacrosse… earned league title her sophomore year for lacrosse and her junior and senior years for cross country… sectional champion three times in cross country… won state titles in ice hockey in 2020 and 2023… led team in ground balls her junior and senior year of lacrosse. 

Personal: Leah is the daughter of Robert and Karen… she is a Criminology major who is minoring in Psychology… her favorite athletic memories are playing hockey with her best friends… she started playing lacrosse in the fifth grade because her brother played… her favorite professional sports team is the New York Rangers.
