PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's rowing team competed against Ithaca College and Nazareth University on Saturday on the Cayuga Inlet. 

How It Happened

The Cardinals finished third in the Varsity 8 race behind Nazareth (second) and Ithaca (first) with a time of 8:42.7. Fisher's crew was on pace with its opponents before an oar became stuck in the water, causing the boat to come to a full stop. 

The Cardinals' lineup included Anna Winters (coxswain), Anna Foe (8 seat), Rhea Malmquist (7 seat), Adalee DiMarco (6 seat), Lily Burke (5 seat), Izzy Haney (4 seat), Maddie Wilger (3 seat), Yan Huang (2 seat) and Tenley Radogna (1 seat). 

St. John Fisher also raced Ithaca in a Varsity 4 race. Its crew included Winters (coxswain), DiMarco (4), Burke (3), Hanney (2) and Wilger (1).
