PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Two St. John Fisher University student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Empire 8 Conference, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

MEN'S SOCCER

Adam Grover (Gr., M) – Empire 8 Co-Offensive Player of the Week (x2 this season)

Grover scored three more goals as St. John Fisher recorded Empire 8 wins over Houghton and Russell Sage last week. The senior midfielder has scored a goal in seven of the Cardinals' last eight contests.

He scored both of St. John Fisher's goals in a 2-1 home victory against Houghton on Wednesday, with the second one breaking a tie in the 90th minute. Grover added his third goal of the week in a 3-0 Senior Day win over Russell Sage on Saturday.

Grover's eight goals this season lead the Empire 8 and mark the most by a Cardinal since Riley Rease had 10 goals in 2021. He has earned Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week honors twice.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

Emily Woolingham (Jr., F) – Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week (x2 this season)

Woolingham found the back of the net three times last week as St. John Fisher improved to 13-1 overall and 9-0 in Empire 8 play with wins over Houghton and Russell Sage.

Woolingham scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 road victory over Houghton on Wednesday and recorded her fifth collegiate two-goal game in a 4-0 road win over Russell Sage on Saturday. The junior forward has scored five goals in the Cardinals' last four matches and is tied atop the conference with 32 total points.

Woolingham has 13 goals on the year – the fourth most by a Cardinal in a season. She has scored in all but four of Fisher's 14 contests.
