Women's Track and Field Competes In RIT Invite

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's track and field team continued the indoor season on Friday night, competing in the RIT Invitational.

Track Highlights

Sophomore Abigail Dorunda placed second in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:01.05.
Dorunda also placed third in the 200-meter event with a mark of 26.52 seconds.
Senior Caitlin Voloshen recorded a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run, logging a time of 2:23.60.

Field Highlights

Sophomore Kathryn Hillyard placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.53 meters.
Seniors Jazelle McIntyre and Christina Valicenti placed sixth and seventh, respectively, in the weight throw. McIntyre recorded a mark of 14.36 meters, while Valicenti had a mark of 14.35 meters.
Sophomore Kianna Naval earned third place in the triple jump, logging a mark of 10.69 meters. Freshman Makenna Keough placed fourth at 10.61 meters.
