MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville completed a weekend sweep of the St. John Fisher women's hockey team with a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday. The Mustangs improved to 3-11-1 overall, while Fisher slipped to 4-8-1.
How it Happened
Morrisville got on the board in the final minute of the first period as Karehatironhtha Johnson found the back of the net with 40 seconds remaining.
The Cardinals tied the score in the second period on Keira Reckley's power-play goal, but the Mustangs regained the lead minutes later when Tilly Couture scored a power-play goal of her own.
With less than two minutes remaining in regulation, Morrisville put the game away as Zoe Leas scored the final goal.
