PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's lacrosse team has landed 15 players on the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll, announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cardinals have had 76 IWLCA DIII Honor Roll honorees under Linda Michele, who announced her retirement in May after 14 years as St. John Fisher's head coach. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
Additionally, the IWLCA named the Cardinals a 2025 Division III Honor Squad for having at least a 3.2 GPA. The Cardinals exceeded that mark during the 2024-25 academic year, posting a 3.45 GPA.
The IWLCA honored 1,284 student-athletes from 201 DIII institutions on its Academic Honor Roll and named 383 programs across all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA Academic Honor Squads. The Cardinals' 15 honor roll honorees are the most by an Empire 8 Conference and Rochester-area team.
