PITTSFORD, N.Y. – St. John Fisher's Mario Cubello has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team for the 2025 season.
Cubello, a first-time CSC All-Academic honoree, maintained a 3.99 grade-point average while studying biology and chemistry over four years at Fisher.
The 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Baseball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for both All-District and All-American consideration, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, hold a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average or above and be a starter or important reserve for their respective teams.
Cubello led the Cardinals in home runs (8), walks (41), slugging percentage (.627), on-base percentage (.566) and stolen bases (22 in 23 attempts) during the 2025 season. He finished second on the team in batting average (.382) and fourth in RBI (30).
Cubello recently earned second-team All-Region III honors from
