BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher baseball team's season came to an end Friday with a 16-10 loss to Houghton at SUNY Brockport's Clark V. Whitted Park. The Cardinals concluded their season 21-19-1.

Brendan Bucello, Ryan Vanderlip and Jack Griffin had run-scoring hits as the Cardinals got out to a 5-2 lead in the first two innings.
Houghton answered to tie the game on a base-clearing three-run double in the top half of the third.
After Houghton hit a three-run homer to take a 10-6 lead in the sixth, Jordan Perry, Dominic Guccia and Bucello had RBI singles to pull the Cardinals back to even.
The Highlanders pulled away one more time, scoring four in the eighth inning and two in the ninth.
