BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Three school records fell for the St. John Fisher women's track and field team over the weekend in the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships at SUNY Brockport.
The Cardinals placed third as a team with 122 team points. Geneseo won the meet with 331 points, while Brockport amassed 149.5 team points en route to a second-place finish.
Sabrina Antonini placed seventh and broke the school record in the 3000m steeplechase. She recorded a time of 11:40.65.
Sierra Myers placed third and set the Fisher women's record in the javelin throw, recording a mark of 36.87 meters.
The Cardinals' 4x800 team of Maggie Bacon, Grace Caterina, Olivia Grinnell and Brianne Hurlburt set a program record with a time of 9:32.33. The quartet placed second in the event.
Additional Meet Highlights

Sophia Leach placed fifth and met the regional-qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles event (1:06.93).

Erin McGuiness met the regional-qualifying mark in the shot put with a throw of 12.45 meters.

Victoria Rogoyski placed third in the women's heptathlon with a score of 3440, the second-best mark in Fisher women's track and field history.
