Kaplan Continues Strong Outdoor Season At AARTFC Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – St. John Fisher men's track and field junior Brandon Kaplan continued his impressive outdoor season on Thursday in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships at Williams College. 

In the hammer throw, Kaplan recorded a hurl of 57.59 meters for his fifth first-place finish in the event in six meets this spring. He recently set the school record (60.87 meters) in the event two weeks ago in the Empire 8 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 

The Cardinals amassed 28 team points over the two-day meet at Williams College, finishing in a tie for 16th place with Oneonta.

The Cardinals' qualifiers will compete in the NCAA DIII Track and Field Championships next week.
