COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Senior Brandon Kaplan captured his second consecutive regional title in the hammer throw to lead the St. John Fisher men's track and field team in the 2026 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships at Ursinus College. The two-day meet began on Wednesday and ran through Thursday afternoon, with the top eight finishers in each event earning All-Region honors.

The Cardinals finished in 13th place as a team with 24 points. Rowan won the team title with 108 points, while SUNY Cortland took second place with 58 points.

Kaplan won the hammer throw on Wednesday with a mark of 58.36 meters, his best career toss in the AARTFC Outdoor Championships. He claimed the championship last year with a throw that traveled 57.59 meters.

Junior Hayden Penna and sophomore Oren Welch also earned spots on the podium on Wednesday with strong performances in the pole vault. Penna placed third at 4.86 meters, while Welch took sixth with a mark of 4.71 meters.
