GENESEO, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's track and field team began the outdoor portion of its season on Saturday in the Geneseo Bill Q Invite. 

• Christopher Lopez placed second in the 100m run with a time of 11.29 seconds. 

• Corinthian Reed placed second in the 200m run with a time of 22.98 seconds. Lopez (fourth place), Brady Bishop (sixth place) and Brock Young (seventh place) also had strong performances in the event.

• Reed also placed fourth in the 400m run with a time of 50.43. 

• Oren Welch placed first in the 110-meter hurdles (16.56 seconds) and hit the NCAA regional qualifying mark in the pole vault (4.45m, second place). 

• Reid Hooker set a personal record in the 10000m run (34:57.71). 

• Jack Bickford placed seventh in the hammer throw (44.41m). Blake Reese (41.67m), Brandon Keefe (36.12m) and Michael Zatlukal (35.48m) also had strong season-opening performances in the event.
