PITTSFORD, N.Y. – St. John Fisher track and field athletes Ciarra Franz and Manuel Sepulveda will compete in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday down the street at Nazareth University's Golisano Training Center.
Franz, a senior, qualified for the national meet in the women's 60-meter hurdles event. On the men's side, Sepulveda, a sophomore, will compete in the long and triple jump events.
The top eight finishers in each event earn first-team All-American honors. Placers in the No. 9 to No. 16 range will be second-team All-Americans.

Women's 60m hurdles prelims: 1:45 p.m. Friday
Men's long jump: 3:30 p.m. Friday
Men's triple jump: 2:30 p.m. Saturday
Women's 60m hurdles finals: 3:10 p.m. Saturday

Sepulveda, who will be making his first career appearance in the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, has posted impressive numbers in the long jump and triple jump events all season. The University at Buffalo transfer has placed fourth or better in the long jump in all but one of the meets in which he's competed this season.

Sepulveda's best performances of the season came on March 1 in the Empire 8 Indoor Track and Field Championships. He placed first and set Empire 8 Conference, event, program and personal records in the triple jump (14.97m). He also placed first and set a collegiate best in the long jump (7.19m).
