PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's track and field team opened the indoor season on Friday evening in the Nazareth University Alumni Invitational.
Track Highlights

Freshman Elijah Burnley set a program indoor record and placed first in the 60-meter run, clocking a time of 6.94 seconds.

Sophomore Corinthian Reed placed second and set a program indoor record in the 300-meter run with a mark of 35:45.

Sophomore Landon Wertz placed fourth and set a personal record in the mile with a time of 4:45.30.

The Cardinals' 4x200 team of Brock Young, Ethan Fox, Christopher Lopez and Elijah Burnley placed second with a time of 1:32.63.
Field Highlights

Sophomore Oren Welch and junior Hayden Penna tied for first and set program records in the pole vault with marks of 4.75 meters.

Senior Brandon Kaplan placed first in the weight throw with a toss of 17.71 meters.
