PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Senior Olivia Grinnell paced the St. John Fisher women's cross country team in the Empire 8 Championship 6k on Saturday, placing 24th out of 108 runners on the Cardinals' Cross Country Course.
The Cardinals took sixth place as a team; SUNY Geneseo won the team title for the second straight year.
Grinnell recorded a time of 24:13.3, the third-best mark on the Cardinals' top-20 list for their course.

Seniors Taylor Hoffman and Lauren Dunn placed 31st and 32nd, respectively. With their times – 24:37.7 for Hoffman and 24:38.2 for Dunn – they entered the top 10 on Fisher's performance list for the course.

Junior Maggie Bacon placed 38th with a time of 25:06.1, also a top-10 mark on Fisher's list for the course.

Senior Margaret Nawojski logged a time of 25:25.9 to crack the Cardinals' top 20 list for the course.
