HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Two St. John Fisher women's cross country runners recorded top-25 finishes in the Houghton Highlander Invitational on Saturday at the Field of Dreams Cross Country Course.
Senior Olivia Grinnell placed 20th in the 6k, and junior Maggie Bacon finished a few spots behind her in 24th as the Cardinals claimed sixth in a 17-team field.
Grinnell logged a time of 23:00.1, a personal record and the sixth fastest time by a Fisher women's runner on the Houghton 6k course. Bacon also set a personal record with her time of 23:23.8, the eighth-best time ever by a Cardinal on the course.

Senior Lauren Dunn also cracked Fisher's top-20 list for the Houghton Course at 23:58.1 (41st place). That time marked the 12th-best in program history on the Houghton Course.

Senior Taylor Hoffman placed 49th with a time of 24:07.2, another top-20 mark on Fisher's Houghton list.
