BOSTON, Mass. – The St. John Fisher men's track and field team had a strong performance on Saturday as the team competed in the 2025 Track at New Balance Collegiate Showdown.

Freshman Gabriel Cromer finished third and set a personal best in the 60m dash (7.14).

Cromer also set a personal best and finished fifth in the 200m run (22.58).

Freshman Corinthian Reed set season bests in the 200m run (22.92) and 400m dash (50.61). He placed eighth in the 200m event and third in the 400m.

Sophomore Hayden Penna placed second in the pole vault (4.60m). That mark was his second-best of the season.

Freshman Oren Welch placed third in the pole vault (4.15m) and the 60-meter hurdles event (9.29).

Sophomore David Argentieri placed third in the triple jump (12.70m). He also set a personal best with that mark.

Junior Brandon Kaplan won the men's weight throw event (17.19m). Freshman Blake Reese placed seventh in that event and set a personal best (14.06m).

Freshman Daniel Davis placed third in the shot put (13.28m).
