WESTFIELD, CT – The St. John Fisher men's basketball team (1-1) won its first game of the season on Saturday, beating St. Joseph's University Long Island (0-2) 64-53 in the Rick Martin/Hampton Inn Classic consolation game at Westfield State University.

Senior forward Eric Kegler led the Cardinals in scoring for the second straight game. He had 16 points while shooting 4 of 10 from the field and 8 of 12 from the foul line.
