St. John Fisher University Athletics

2025-26: Played in all 27 of the Cardinals’ games, starting in 20 of them… finished second on the team with 252 total points and third in scoring average with 9.3 points per game… had the third-highest shooting percentage of the team, connecting on 43.4% of his attempts from the field… led the team with 45 steals on the defensive end… finished second on the team with 44 assists… scored in double figures 13 times… had a career-high 23 points while shooting 8-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three, in a win over Elmira on Jan. 17… had five steals against Waynesburg on Nov. 8, SUNY Canton on Dec. 2 and Keuka on Feb. 14… had a career-best five assists in a victory over Nazareth on Feb. 17. 

2024-2025: Played in all 25 games and started one… scored a season-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds against SUNY Poly on Feb. 1… shot 7 of 9 from the field, 1 of 2 from three and 5 of 7 from the foul line in that contest. 

High School: He was the captain of his basketball team in 2023-2024, earned all-conference honors in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024… earned all-state honorable mention in 2022-2023… won the league championship in 2022-2023... was named the Somers High Male Athlete of the Year as a senior… he also was a defensive back on the Somers varsity football team… helped Somers win two Class A NY State championships.

Personal: Andrew is the son of Chris and Hoda Violante… he has two siblings, Cameron and Dylan... his father Chris is a St. John Fisher basketball alumnus (‘99) and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
