ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's soccer team fell at the 15th-rated University of Rochester Yellowjackets on Thursday, 2-0

U of R scored twice in the first twenty minutes of the match, and the Cardinals were never able to get on the board despite launching seven shots, including five on goal. 

Sophomore Avery Byrnes made four saves in the loss. Senior Tori Cruz led the team with three shots, all on goal. 

The Cardinals return home on Saturday, Sept. 30, when they host Empire 8 foe Elmira College. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM.
