HERSHEY, PA – The St. John Fisher University men's golf team traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania to compete in the Hershey Cup over the weekend. There was a variety of competitive teams including the hosts, University of Rochester, along with Oswego State, RPI, York College, Wittenberg University and others.
 
As a team, the Cardinals scored 329 in the first round and 334 in the second for a total of 663 when it all went final. Luke Buckley led the way with a total score of 159, scoring 80 in round one and 79 in round too. Joseph DePasquale and Kyle Lubey scored similarly, with DePasquale hitting 166 and Lubey scoring 167. Benjamin Fox and Nick Tellone also finished just one stroke off from one another. Fox finished the day at 171 and Tellone collected a score of 172. RJ Juodaitis had a strong showing, scoring 160, but he golfed as an individual in the tournament.
 
Up next for Fisher will be their season finale. They will compete in Empire 8 Championship on April 15 and April 16 at Hershey Country Club.
