PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's golf team competed in Round One Of Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. Five Cardinals are competing in the competition, including Luke Buckley, Bryce Barber, Nick Tellone, Joe DePasquale and Benjamin Fox.
 
Tellone led the way for the Cardinals, scoring a 76 (+4). He hit an eagle in his final hole of the day to drop his back-9 score to +1. Buckley finished with a 77 (+5) converting four birdies throughout the round. DePasquale finished the day with a 78 (+6), hitting par in 10 of the 18 holes. Barber and Fox wrapped up the first day of competition scoring 83 (+11) and 91 (+19) respectively.
 
The Cardinals will continue the invitational on Saturday, March 18.
